Check-in Check-out time
Check-in time is between 15:00 and 20:00.
The check-out time limit is 11:00.
We ask all guests to be back by 12:30 am if they go out in the evening.
MEAL
No breakfast nor dinner is avaiable.
Please refrain from bringing store-bought bento boxes, cupped food or fast food.
This is due to our belief which what touches our skin and what we have are important for maintaining a healthy body and mind.
There are many great places to eat in Kamakura, and we are more than happy to make recommendations according to your cravings.
TAKING PHOTOS
Please consider other guests’ privacy and comfort when you take photos,
and keep the ones taken at the hotel for private use only.
When in the cafe lounge, please only take close-up pictures of your drink or other items on your table.
REGULATIONS
As the premises are small,
we invite our guests to refrain from using strong perfume.
We would also like to remind you
that our hotel is an entirely non-smoking establishment,
including e-cigarettes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation of your reservation,
the following percentage of your initial reservation will be held:
・15 to 11 days before check-in: 30%
・10 to 6 days before check-in: 50%
・5 to 2 days before check-in: 80%
・The day before, on the day,
and in case of not showing up without further notice: 100%
DEAR FIRST-TIME GUESTS
We started this hotel so that people like you who visit Kamakura can feel the city and nature of Kamakura at its fullest, enjoy its atmosphere, take a break to rest and think. To preserve the serenity of this place for our guests, we only accept small groups.
aiaoi is a small hotel with only 6 rooms. Located in an aged building and featuring shared commodities (showers and restrooms), you may hear the sound of other guests. Still, our hotel inspires a feeling of community. Our only hope being that all guests have a wonderful time during their stay, we cordially ask everyone to respect the atmosphere of serenity and simpleness we gave to our establishment.
Rather than offering fancy features and a wide range of services, our hotel’s concept is based on our vision of what’s essential in life and what makes it comfortable without unnecessary flourish and too-convenient amenities.

STAYING WITH CHILDREN
Children who are 6 years old and older are welcome to stay at aiaoi.
The price is the same as adult.
If you would like to stay with your child/children,

FOR UNDERAGE-GUESTS ONLY GROUPS
We consider the manner and atmosphere at the hotel very importantly.
As a general rule, we do not allow minors (under 20 years old) to stay by themselves.
They may stay when they are staying alone (1 person) or with a guardian.
ABOUT VISITING THE HOTEL
PRIOR TO YOUR RESERVED STAY
In order for our guests to feel comfortable,
we don’t offer hotel tours prior to your reserved stay.
However, you are more than welcome to show up at the cafe lounge during business hours to take a look at the common area and get a feeling of the hotel’s atmosphere.
